The original design was by Kurt Wenner, the anamorphic pavement innovator, who designed a 42 ‘x 450-foot pavement painting, an 18,900-square-foot illusion featuring the extinct Megalodon shark to honor Venice as the capital of the world. The crew was being held by Julie Kirk. The great artist took part in the project. Over the course of the eleven days the artists increased the painting by 3,847.60 feet, changed the shark’s tail, and added the fossils to the project. It was fantastic. It took 45 artists 12 days to paint it. It is 22,747.6 square meters! The installation of the Guinness Book 3D took place at the Festival Grounds of Venice Municipal Airport.
