About me

Born and grown up in Mantua,Italy, took a school-leaving certificate in Antique Decorative Arts at the Art Institute in Mantova and in 1997 I graduated in Mantova on Conservation and maintenance of works of art, paintings on canvas, frescos, panel paintings and sculptures in polychrome wood.

Quando le mie passioni si uniscono...
Adoro la #botanica e, nel mio piccolo coltivare. Così finalmente, dopo mesi ecco pronta la mia 'produzione'. Idromiele, Aloysa ( Erba Luigia), Genziana, e Grappa all'Uva Fragola.
A parte la radice di Genziana acquistata in Abruzzo, le altre sono state coltivate e lavorate a km Zero. Per completare il tutto la creazione delle etichette a tema 💜

The painting Is inspirer by the novel "The Baron in the Trees" by #italocalvino a 20th-century Italian writer whose 100th anniversart il celebrated.
The protagonista Is Cosimo, scion of a noble Ligurian family, who at the age of 12, following on argument with his father, decides ti climb a tree and never come down again for the rest of his Life.

Per questo evento mi era stato chiesto di realizzare uno scorcio di paesaggio, così ho pensato di inserire anche un simbolo del folklore romagnolo, il #mazapegul, folletto dal retaggio celtico. Un essere tra folletto e scimmia, che indossa un singolare cappello rosso. Tipico per il senso di disagio ed ansia che lasciava attorno sè, e per il suo infastidire le belle fanciulle . Per tenerlo lontano da case e stalle si lasciava la scopa accanto alla porta.

Oggi, mentre realizzavo il dipinto di 'San Francesco e il Lupo" una foglia si è posata sulla mano del Santo. Di colui che ha sempre rispettato natura e animali perché anche in essi vedeva il segno Divino. L'ho lasciata lì tutto il giorno, era il posto giusto per lei 💜
